Natalie C. Smith, Architect, M.A.Sc  Design

Natalie Smith is the founder and president of the firm; she is involved in each project from conception to completion. She has 25 years of experience in managing projects varying between 30K to 10M$. Her expertise is in heritage conservation, cultural resource management and building envelope performance.

COLLABORATORS AND CONSULTANTS:

Andrée Levesque, Architect (retired)

Andrée Levesque has been a member of l’Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) since 1978, and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2004. She has over thirty years of experience as senior Architect, leading technical projects related to masonry (Stone, Brick, Concrete), fenestration, roofing, curtain walls, building envelope, interior design, and national and universal access building codes. She is an excellent multi-project manager, with a strong ability to define and manage a projects evolution; she manages change with a strong focus on communication. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge to guide each step of the project; including, planning, budgeting, site-overview, and delivery.

Yolene Handabaka-Ames, Architect, M.A.Sc Design

Mrs. Handabaka-Ames is an excellent and experienced researcher for projects relating to conservation of the built environment in Québec. Since 2013, she has collaborated with NCS Architecture on projects for the Montreal School Board, and private clients, mainly as project co-ordinator. Mrs. Handabaka-Ames is originally from Peru, where she has experience as an architect designing and renovating homes and commercial buildings. She also has experience working as an architect on affordable housing projects for the Government of Peru. Additionally, she has researched innovative and affordable building material alternatives.

Yvan Corriveau, Architect

The diverse skill-set acquired by Mr. Corriveau over the course of his career has solidified his technical architectural expertise. During his over fifteen years as architect-general contractor, he developed a sensibility for projects with practical considerations; appropriately responsive solutions; feasibility, and solid budgets. He was a principal for construction companies Syscomax and EXAConstruction. His additional knowledge of fundamental engineering principles allows him to execute designs with precision. On site, Mr. Corriveau ensures his team reacts with assiduity, and fluidity, throughout the projects evolution.
